The artist Michael Fischer decided early in his life to make the world more colourful. In his art, he takes a socially critical approach to the environment and, following the example of Social Critical Realism, assigns his work to “Market Economic Realism”.
In his pictorial language, he uses rich colours, large surfaces, simple structures and comic-like muppets, creating a high recognition value.
Hardly any other artist worldwide has painted as much surface as he has. But Michael Fischer’s “Kunst am Bau” projects cannot be limited to surfaces alone, even bridges, playgrounds and much more are immersed in colour by the artist.
Colourful, striking and always an eye-catcher, Michael Fischer-Arts sculptures beautify many places in Germany and are a magnet for tourists and art lovers. A 100 meter long fountain in the city centre of Frankfurt/Oder, in which eight to six metres high sculptures spitting water, was one of his first sculpture projects.
Sometimes a slightly different style, but not less colourful: Many celebrities have been portrayed by Michael Fischer-Art in a pop-art manner. In addition, the artist Fischer-Art maintains good contact to representatives from politics, economy and show business.
He is also known as an author of short stories.
